http://news.yahoo.com/white-house-unlocking-cellphones-legal-002209756–sector.html I had no idea that as of January 2013, cell phones could no longer legally be unlocked as to switch providers. Though I’ve been with AT&T forever (thanks to Apple), it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t look at another provider if they offered something outstanding. To me it’s like being held hostage.
