This is the new constantly requested appetizer/side dish. So easy, a 10 year old can make it. You only need some common ingredients.
- Canned Biscuits (regular/grands/jumbos – Buttermilk/ Layered)
- Mozzarella Sticks (String Cheese), but you could use Cheddar, Blue, Swiss, Brie, Cream Cheese (recommend if using a soft cheese, make a ball, and freeze til at least firm), any gooey cheese. If using String Cheese, it will be one stick cut in 4s. So basically 1-2 tablespoons of cheese
- Egg Wash (1 egg whipped with 1-2 tblsp melted butter, a pinch (to taste) coarse or fine sea salt, and any of the following – Parsley, Basil, Tarragon, Rosemary
- Parchment Paper
- Cookie Sheet
- 2-3 tbls of Flour
Have oven preheating at 375°-400°.
Basically you open can of biscuits. Roll flat each biscuit.
Cut Mozzarella Cheese sticks (String Cheese) in to 4 = pieces each stick.
Place cheese (if using different cheese, 1-2 tablespoons, or pre-made firm/frozen cheese ball) in center of flattened biscuit. Bring all edges together, pinch, and form ball.
Place new cheese filled balls on parchment paper. Brush egg+butter+herb wash on all surfaces of each ball.
Place tray in oven. I bake 15-18 minutes (depends on your oven and altitude). I make sure to have a piece of foil to cover my rolls, aka Cheese BOMBS at the 10 minute mark. I cover my rolls, with a loose sheet of foil on top to prevent over browning.
Take out. Pull apart a roll (after all you gotta test it right 😂😂😂) to check gooey factor. If not gooey enough, stick in microwave 30-60 seconds.
Viola! Manga!
