Learned a new word term today. Had to Google… Abrosexuality. For those of you who don’t know what Abrosexuality is, in layperson’s terms, it simply means when someone’s sexual identity fluctuates and changes.

So what’s the difference between BiSexuality, Asexuality, and Abrosexuality?

The main difference lies in the nature of the attraction.

Bisexuality typically refers to a stable attraction to two or more genders, while abrosexuality describes a fluid or fluctuating sexual orientation where attractions can change over time.

Bisexuality:

Definition:

Attraction to two or more genders.

Stability:

Bisexual individuals generally experience attraction to the same genders throughout their lives, although the intensity of attraction may vary.

Example:

A Bisexual person might be attracted to both men and women, and this attraction might fluctuate in intensity, but the genders they are attracted to remain consistent.

Abrosexuality:

Definition:

A fluid or fluctuating sexual orientation where the type and intensity of attraction can change over time.

Fluctuation:

Attraction may shift between different genders, or even between being attracted to someone and not being attracted at all (Asexual).

Example:

An Abrosexual person might be attracted to men one day, women another, and then experience a period of being Asexual, and then back to being attracted to men again.

In simpler terms:

Bisexuality is like having a preference for certain genders, while Abrosexuality is like having a changing playlist of gender preferences.

We also need to talk about what is Asexuality? As someone who is Abrosexual may also experience being Asexual.

Asexuality is a sexual orientation characterized by a lack of or very low sexual attraction to others. It is a spectrum, meaning that people may experience varying degrees of Asexuality.

• Asexual individuals may still engage in sexual activity, but it is not motivated by romantic or sexual attraction. 
• Asexuality is distinct from Aromanticism, which refers to a lack of romantic attraction. (Aromanticism refers to a romantic orientation where an individual experiences little to no romantic attraction toward others. It’s distinct from Asexuality, which refers to the absence of sexual attraction. Aromantic individuals may still form close relationships, but these are often based on friendship or queerplatonic connections rather than romance.)
• Asexuality is not a choice or a result of trauma; it is a natural variation in sexual orientation. 
• There are many subcategories of Asexuality, such as Gray-Asexual (experiencing occasional sexual attraction) and Demisexual (developing sexual attraction after forming a strong emotional bond). 
• Asexuality is a valid and respected identity, and Asexual people deserve to be treated with understanding and respect. 

It’s important to note that Asexuality is a complex and personal experience, and individuals may identify and express their Asexuality in different ways.

Kinda creeps me out why we have to put a label on every thing now. Instead of just concentrating on being in the ‘Present’, and being ‘Kind to each other’, and ‘Happy in life’. Personally I could care less about someone’s sexual orientation. As long as they respect me and my boundaries, I am all good. Also as long as zero children or sexual abuse of any kind is happening. No I am not talking about adults who are into S&M and B&D. That is a consensual adult fetish.
