I actually liked President Reagan. I had a chance to meet and work with him a couple of times. Quite nice and funny. There are things I didn’t agree with him on, but, at the time, I was a Republican. I have never voted straight ticket. But, at least he was willing to work across the aisle to make things happen. What happened to that Party of Republicans? What happened to the Republican Party? Hell.

What happened to BOTH Parties? At least we communicated back in the day. Without so much hate. We addressed real problems. We stood up against Dictators. So many things, we fought for. Protecting our Constitution and what it stands for is one of them. What happened? As a Gen X person, when did we as The People, stop being ‘We the People’?

And now this…

BREAKING: Judge William Young, a Reagan appointee, delivers the most scathing legal rebuke of the Trump era, ruling that Trump and his cabinet illegally targeted pro-Palestinian students for deportation to “strike fear” into First Amendment protesters.

The ruling itself is remarkable, but it closes with something I’ve never seen: a 12-page assessment of Trump himself as an ignorant bully, braggart and threat to free speech and the republic writ-large.   Kyle Cheney
