Whoa. We have gone so wrong. It is time we at least center. Balance. No where in Our Doctrine is killing just to kill right (at least not a moral person). Man without morals and code is no Man at all. He is merely a Coward at best. Most definitely soul-less.
I get it. There is so much anger about quality of life. So easy to want to place blame. So much animosity against a ghost. Never wanting to realize, you are the ghost of you if you deed into the machine. When I say machine, we all know there is a better, or almost best version of ourselves. However, it is so easy to play the blame game. Blame it on bad hair, blame it on your parents, wait that gets old, blame it on a stranger. They wont know right? Hurt someone else, because you are hurting and they should hurt to? Someone did someone wrong in your eyes? The ‘blame game’, ‘it is everyone’s fault, but me’. At some point you have to be the man/woman in the mirror, and realize, if you want to be a better person, it starts with you.
A better Sapien.
However, there is humanity, respect, and hope. There is strength, there is the ability to grow as one and collectively. To thrive.
It is ok to disagree. That is how we grow. Opinion. We all have one, the strength of leading is to listen. Engage. Build.
But, if you are consumed by anger, hate, and God knows what else, at the end of the day, it will destroy you.
We are devolving, as an entire species. We are dying. Because of our greed. More, more, more. Now let me step on your throat whist I do it. How are my nails? Do my shoes looks good whilst I step on you? Wait should I feel or hurt for your pain or loss?
We should be evolving. I implore ICE, think about your actions. You murdered a peaceful person that SAVED LIVES for a living, unconditionally. In his eyes, saving a life, a child, a woman, a man, that was his calling, God appointed calling… to fight for life. Though peacefully. Yet, murdered. Shame. Shame on you. Every day your mama wakes up and prays for you (if she is still with us). Shame on you.
No words can describe losing a child, a child who grew up to save lives. Yet, here we are. With respect to the family, I am so very sorry for your loss. May he walk with angels now. May his love for his fellow human not be lost because of rhetoric, may he teach Us all a lesson on how valuable life is.
I am so very sorry.
Signed,
Your fellow human – Leila
