Well, I know that at times when I look around, and I see that there is so much suffering in the world, there is nothing one can DO but have faith. I don’t even know that it matter so much what you put your faith in – God, science, karma, the Tao. Whatever. I just don’t know what the alternative would be.

I’ve always had faith, even in the darkest hour. I remember being 4 and 5 years old writing letters to God as if having a conversation. It is in my faith in many things that I am able to find strength and beauty in the world and life.
