I thought I’ve noticed a baby boom of sorts. It seems quite a few women are pregnant these days or are planning on getting pregnant. I never associated the economy with that concept though. I did associate rural areas, religious beliefs (it seems more people are going back to church or religion too, especially during hard times and times improving), as well as cultural believes. More emphasis on family and unity than the 90’s and 2000’s. I’ve seen much more focus on famly growth since 2010’s.
This article really brings this topic and phenomenon to perspective. I wonder if other countries will experience this as their economy changes? I wonder if this is uniqiely American? Hmm…
