Have you guys and dolls seen the 50th year commemorative new release book cover for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory book? Creepy or modern? I’m like, she looks like all sorts of WRONG!!!! Over sexualized, creepy, robotic, kinda Twilight Zone-ish meets living creepy Chucky’s daughter. Just saying?

I’m not sure I see the sexualized part, but it’s definitely weird and inappropriate for the book. It just seems random and like it has nothing to do with the book it’s on. Then again I have that problem with lots of book cover art. Especially in sci fi/fantasy books. It’s VERY common in my experience for books of that genre to get unmatched cover art.
