I came across this photojournal the other day, and I simply had to share. As a person who has been married for almost 18 years, it brought a smile to my face, and warmed my heart.

These pictures represent love goals. Love and being in love, is work, patience, understanding, spark, participating, commitment, tenderness, arguements, forgiveness, being there, growing together, and so much more.

I am so blessed for being married to the love of my life. But also, so blessed to see my siblings doing the same (most of them, couple not married). This applies to so many of my friends too.

All that being said, the first person you should be in love with is yourself.

Being in an in love relationship is not defined by how long together, age (legal), sexual orientation, or religion. It is defined, by being there for someone else, through the good times, the ok times, the tough times, the rough times, and the bad times.
