A MUST READ ARTICLE for those with children, but also adults in general. I say this because at 51 years old, most likely kids in their preteen, and teenager years now, will actively be working and making decisions, in, about, and for our society, when I am in my 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and forward.
I mean my Great Grandmother lived to be 106. My Mom, and 2 of her 3 sisters are all going strong and spunky. My Father is still alive, he is considerably older than my mom. All of my older siblings, and youngest sibling are healthy, and most pretty active as well. Thank God. I feel blessed everyday about that.
All that being said, I have always had that feeling, I am going to be around for quite a while. After I turned 33, I kinda just had this feeling. I hope I’m right, as there is so very much in life I still want to do, and feel I have to do, I need to do. So much in life to learn, discover, and share.
At this stage in my life, I am more observant than ever. Especially, regarding Society, My Life, and Life around me, both personally, and abroad.
So, reading this article about this long term study, specifically on U.S. American children, regarding brain abnormalities, is insightful and astonishing. The depths to which they are studying, the detail, and at such a large scale, are impressive to say the least. This study is also something to follow, and monitor to see their findings, conclusions, and thoughts of what to do next.
This study is a tool of necessary information, to see what our future holds, for the younger generations, and older generations. Especially, since this will impact all of us, at some stage or another. The impact will be on all levels. In our personal lives. In our social lives. In our professional lives. In our society. In our world as we will know it, and function in it.
These discoveries and analysis of them will have lasting data, results, outcomes, and reprecussions. Thus, why this is definitely something to keep an eye on.
