Saturday night Taco Salad and Movie Night (of course whilst I write). Been looking forward to watching this one, especially since I’ve been an Edgar Allen Poe super admirer since I was like 6-7 years old. Started with watching Vincent Price movies, reading E.A.P. books, and Grimm books. So, totally excited. Looks really good though. I love Christian Bale as an actor. Total method, definitely slightly twisted and definitely demented, pushing his boundries. Kinda reminds me of me. He plays dark very well (American Psycho, and the one where he starves – The Machinist, Ford v Farrari, American Hustle, The Big Short, Newsies, Out of Furnace, 10 to Yuma, Batman – I loved him as Batman, Anastasia, or the Boston boxer – The Fighter), just love him being dark, or at least a character with so many layers. Complex, yet so simple and crisp. I want to see the movie Amsterdam too. Mad respect.
