I’ve been using olive oil as skin cleanser & makeup remover for decades. I follow up with Witch Hazel – as a follow-up cleanser/astringent. I also use Olive Oil, Squaline Oil, Coconut Oil, and Argon Oil, for my skin, and scalp. I use Vaseline for my feet, and elbows, and any extreme dryness I have. Sometimes I use Apple Cider Vinegar, or Hydrogen Peroxide as well, if my skin is super grimey. I tend to be very old school. My skin is quite sensitive to artificial or over processed ingredients.

I’m also a super freak on always using sunscreen, especially under my eyes, and cheeks. I wear makeup with sunscreen too. Plus, I am a huge hat person. Also, I keep covered quite a bit.

Most importantly, I start from the inside out. I drink tons of water (unsweetened). Am a complete freak when it comes to vitamins, supplements, and nutrients. I make super green custom smoothies, and drinks regularly. I add collagen and chia seeds to all my smoothies as well. An Avocado a day, a tomato a day, veggies and fruit daily go a long way too.

Pineapple is a Godsend for sure. If the acidity is too much, treat yourself to a Hawaiian Sugarloaf White Pineapple or a ripe pineapple. Both are sweeter, high in fiber, nutrients, water, minerals anti inflammatory bromelain (good for arthritis), and fat burning enzymes. Excellent properties for workout body recovery. In addition to large amounts of vitamin C and manganese, pineapples add to your daily value of vitamin B6, copper, thiamin, folate, potassium, magnesium, niacin, riboflavin, and iron.

Pineapple, Olive Oil, and Avocado do a body great!

It helps I was raised this way though. I’ve been eating whole foods, taking supplements, and herbs my whole life. It’s as natural as breathing air.

For the record, Costco can be a friend if you use a lot of olive oil in your life. I just bought 2 Liters!

This is me last week, I turned 53 last October 5th, before my new hair cut and color. I’ll do that reveal in one of my upcoming posts. It’s fire engine red! It looks awesome!!!
