With Fall season upon us, and Winter around the corner, that means, it is Squash time. Squash come in a wide variety, and are basically broken up into two sector categories. The categories being Winter Squash, and Summer Squash. Below is a detail list of the most popular squash.


Squash come in all flavors and intensities. They range from savory to sweet, firm to soft, even imulating other foods, such as spaghetti pasta or tofu in flexibility. They can also be substituted for other veggies, or changed to make soups, dips, stews, chips, even ice cream. They offer endless possibilities including Pumpkin Spice Latte*.

Squash is loaded with so many nutrients and is such a flexible fruit. From eating them lightly or almost au natural (little salt or butter) to full blown extravagant savory or sweet dishes to creamy sauces or even pasta itself.

Endless possibilities for flavors, textures, style of cooking, international tastes, vegetarian, vegan, the possibilites are simply endless.
