So, this just happened out our window. We think it was a meteor. Insane. Only in PNW! I soooo love it here! We saw it live. Burning up and lighting the PNW sky. Talk about insane. Looked like a damn invasion

Update: Space X (Elon Musk) rocket burning up on fire on re-entry of earth’s atmosphere. Falcon 9 Second Stage re- entering after 22 days in orbit.

Hi Leila! I see you enjoy posting astronomy and space related stories – you might find interesting stories from the University of Washington Planetarium Facebook page. We have free monthly public planetarium shows presented by student astronomy department volunteers. However, we our physical theater is closed right now due to COVID with the UW campus still closed to public in most departments). But we still post daily on Facebook including online free planetarium programs, NASA presentations and special public astronomy lectures from around the country.
