I just wrote a blog piece about Angelina Jolie. As I was writing the piece, the piece when on to evolve into speaking about ‘Fans’, ‘Fandom’, ‘Admiration’, and ‘Respect’, in a 1) Profession, Hobby, Art, Talent, or Sport, and, or, 2) Personal.

I don’t personally get ‘Fandom’, or ‘Fans’ per se. Even as a teenager or kid, I never had the ‘posters’ or ‘freakouts’ over anyone. Instead, I ‘Admired’ people with ‘Respect’ or ‘Admiration’. People I didn’t ‘Respect’ or ‘Admire’, or was even ‘Intrigued’ or ‘Curious’ about, I simply stayed clear of.

For instance, my readers, I’m not looking for them to be fans. I ‘Respect’ them too much to refer to them as that. I consider my readers, as Friends, and fellow Students of the world, my Peers, my Equals. For I learn from You and Them, equally, as I hope they learn from me.

For all intensive purposes, no ‘fandom’ for me. I either ‘Admire, Respect, Curious, or am Intrigued’ by people, or I’m not. I don’t know if this right or wrong, but this is how I have always loved and lived my life. Living in my truth as they say.

Now this is where it gets defined for me. I may not even like someone as a person, but, I admire and respect them in their profession, hobby, art, talent, or, sport, or vice versa.

I suppose you have to earn my respect and admiration on two levels, 1) Personal, and 2) Contribution to Society via Profession, Hobby, Art, Sport, Talent, and etc.

One thing I do need to point out about me, even if you are not my type of person, 9 times out of 10, if you were in need, I would most likely be there for you. For we are all Human, and we are all flawed. I’m far from perfect, and I’ve never met anyone who was. I may be complex, but we all are, sometimes just in very different ways.

Where I draw the line, is when you do intentional harm out of malice to another being. Then you can be guarantee zero help from me. I have zero tolerance for HATE, MALICE, or GRIEVANCE.

Perfect example, we all know I have ZERO tolerance for Trump. Simply becomes he embodies the principles I stand by. I have ZERO Curiousity, Intrigue, Respect, or Admiration for HIM. For in my opinion, he is a man filled with HATE, MALICE, and GRIEVANCE. At least that has been MY experience, for years before he was EVER President, or had his show ‘The Apprentice’. I’ve known about his ways since I was 17, I’m now 51. It was pretty known about him in the circles I ran in when I was younger, and as he became more on the social entertainment scene, and political scene, he only reinforced those opinions I have.

I don’t mean to offend anyone who is Pro Trump or whatever. This is simply my opinion. The beauty about being individuals, is we are all entitled to our opinions.
