It is so hard to believe it has been 10 years! 10 years ago, November 13, 2012, I decided to start a little ol’ blog on WordPress. Yet, I couldn’t really start focusing on her until the end of 2020.

Then of course life happens, COVID, living, a million adventures, heartache, health, stress, it has been a slower restart than I’d hope to be at right now. However, we are making a good start.

We, Leila World Blog, is read on 6 of 7 Continents. We are read in the following countries (everywhere blue on the map we are ready currently):

As of November 13,2022, Leila World Blog is read in 191 countries! I’m amazed, blessed, in awe, inspired, and grateful beyond belief.

It is you the reader that has made this all possible. Thank you for reading my posts, sharing my thoughts, and intrigues, and growing with me, on this little rock of a planet, we call Earth, in the vastness we know, called the Universe.

I have so many writings still to post this year into next, already in draft format. This doesn’t include new material acquired daily. 2023 will see huge growth for us. My goal is to post way more, launch a Podcast or two, and expand our website with more regular daily content, add new types of content, and expand to new platforms.

You will find I have started the process already. I am becoming more active on Twitter, Facebook, Tumbler, Instagram, and Pinterest. This will only increase dramatically in 2023. It should be noted that both Twitter and Facebook have posts by Leila World Blog that are unique to their platform. Make sure to hit your ‘like’ button for Leila World Blog on these and the other platforms as well, to keep in the know of my mental thoughts, ideas, opinions, ponderings, and shenanigans.

I am looking forward to our shared explorations, adventures, opinions, shenanigans, and more, as we move forward in 2023. I am upgrading my electronics, and equipment, expanding my library of information, and inspiration, and we are moving back to our beloved Washington, one of my truly happy places. Since we will be driving up there from Texas, in January, you know I will have all sorts of stories and pictures for you.

Talk about going full circle. We ended 2019 on our way from Las Vegas, Nevada to Bainbridge Island, Washington. Then the end of 2021 we left Bainbridge Island, to Charleston, South Carolina, by car. Stopping, or driving thru, so many states in between. We did that so we may set sail from Charleston, South Carolina, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, then, Key Biscayne, Florida, Bahamas, Republica Dominica (Dominican Republic), and to San Juan, Puerto. Then off sailing to Humacao (Palmas del Mar), where we stayed from January thru May.

Then, in May 2022, we set sail to Key West, Florida, drove to Miami, Florida, all the way up to Charleston, South Carolina, and then Kemah, Texas. Where we are currently selling our boats. Long story, but we ended up with two boats.

After our most recent adventures sailing, and exploring, we’ve decided we really love Washington, Seattle/Gig Harbor area, and have decided to buy a house. Thus, selling the boats. I simply could not be more excited or happy about our year ahead. I feel this way both personally, and for all of us.
